DESCRIPTION:Let’s ignite our hearts with love – join us for the Kirtan Fest SRQ on January 7th. 2023 from 4-8pm at Unity of Sarasota.  Proceeds benefit Mothers Helping Mothers. \nJoin us at Unity of Sarasota for a non-stop live music meditation extravaganza! Local Kirtan Artists; Cheryl Chaffee\, Tej Dharam\, Lotus Heart and The Rockin’ Kirtan Band will be guiding participants in a day of joyful music and call-and-response meditation. \nWhat is Kirtan? \nKirtan is a form of devotional singing and chanting originating from India. It is a form of Bhakti Yoga (yoga of devotion) and has the power to open the heart. The singing is accompanied by musical instruments and rhythmic drumming and the audience is encouraged to participate by singing/chanting\, clapping and dancing.
