Then go to any Suncoast Blood Center to donate. It is important that at the time of registration\, the donor ask that credit be given to Unity of Sarasota\, ID#690. Appointments are encouraged\, but not required except for giving platelets. It is also possible to make an appointment for a one-person blood mobile to come to your home. \nIf a donor gives between blood drives\, call or text Betty McQueen (941) 266-2390. \nSome stats: 19 individuals have given for a total of 27 times\, saving 80 lives.
