The 23rd Psalm—Revisited

I AM—Metaphysical Interpretation

The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.

I AM provided with everything I need by God—my ever-present Source.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures.

I AM created to have and enjoy abundant wealth, health and happiness.

He leadeth me beside the still waters.

I AM always in the presence of Spirit.

He restoreth my Soul.

I AM reunited with my Spiritual Identity and realize that I AM one with Spirit: Whatever God IS, I AM.

He leadeth me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.

I AM guided to think, say and do what is in alignment with Spirit.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

I shall fear no evil for Thou art with me.

Because Spirit is my Constant Companion, I AM fearless when faced with the

appearance or experience of lack, limitation, discontent, disease and death.

Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.

I AM restored to wholeness and uplifted by Universal Law and Unconditional Love.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies.

I AM nourished by God in body, mind and spirit, even as I AM re-directed from any negative thoughts and fears—my true enemies.

Thou anointest my head with oil.

I AM endowed by Spirit with Divine Wisdom and Infinite Intelligence.

My cup runneth over.

I AM blessed with the boundless abundance of Spirit’s bounty.

Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.

I AM given God’s Grace, always, and in all ways.

And I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

I AM forevermore illumined by the light of Spirit’s eternal Love.

Amen.

And So It Is.  Thank You God.  Amen.

The Lord is my banker; my credit is good.

He maketh me to lie down in the consciousness of omnipresent abundance.

He giveth me the keys to His strong-box.

He restoreth my faith in His riches.

He guideth me in the paths of prosperity for His name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the very shadows of debt;

I shall fear no evil; For Thou art with me.

Thy silver and Thy gold, they secure me.

Thou preparest a way for me even in the presence of the collector.

Thou fillest my wallet with plenty; my measure runneth over.

Surely goodness and plenty will follow me all the days of my life;

And I shall do business in the name if the Lord, forever.

Amen.

Rev. John W. Adams, New Thought Minister

Love is my financial advisor; my prosperity is unlimited.

Love fills my life with abundant good.

Love is my Golden Key to infinite riches.

Love guides me in Its way of joy, peace and prosperity, because of Its nature.

Even though I may wander into seeming lack;

I shall not fear, for Love is always with me.

Its nurturing substance prospers me.

Love provides abundantly for me to easily pay all financial obligations.

Love fills my life and my bank accounts with unconditional prosperity;

My wealth overflows.

Thankfully, Love prospers me in every wonderful way, every day of my life,

And, I forever do business in the nature of Love.

Amen.

The 23rd Psalm

Bobby McFerrin

The Lord is my Shepard, I have all I need
She makes me lie down in green meadows
Beside the still waters, She will lead

She restores my soul, She rights my wrongs
She leads me in a path of good things
And fills my heart with songs

Even though I walk, through a dark and dreary land
There is nothing that can shake me
She has said She won’t forsake me
I’m in her hand

She sets a table before me, in the presence of my foes
She anoints my head with oil
And my cup overflows

Surely, surely goodness and kindness will follow me
All the days of my life
And I will live in her house
Forever, forever and ever

Glory be to our Mother, and Daughter
And to the Holy of Holies
As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be
World, without end
