    Unity World Day of Prayer
    Unity World Day of Prayer is September 7 & 8. We begin with the Service on Wednesday evening. The Sanctuary will be open all day on Thursday from 10:00am-7:00pm. Here is the information I have about this year's theme and affirmation: “Holding the High Watch” is this year’s theme.
    The affirmation to help each of us live out this theme in our own life is: I pray with an elevated mind and open heart.

    The Fall Equinox - Fire Circle, Celebration and Ceremony at Unity of Sarasota's Labyrinth on Thursday, Sept. 22 from 7pm to 8 pm. Equinoxes mark a time of balance with equal hours of light and dark. From now on, the days grow shorter and cooler and the nights longer. 
    We open to this Fall Season on the western gate of the Medicine Wheel, marking a time of completions following the Harvest.  What we have sown, we now reap. We celebrate our bounty, lessons and achievements. This is a time for revaluation and give-always.  It is known in native circles as the "Looks Within" time. It asks us to withdraw into the silence within ourselves for answers and revelations, and to trust this process.
