    Please join us for a delightful Sunday Brunch on April 19, to recognize and honor our Sacred Service Volunteer Teams and their leaders. Unity of Sarasota deeply appreciates the many hours of dedicated service our Sacred Servers provide to keep our doors open and Unity thriving. Mark this joyful date on your calendars and prepare to be inspired! PLEASE NOTE: We will NOT have our usual 3rd Sunday Potluck that day. The food for this special luncheon will be provided by the Unity Board of Trustees as a way of saying "Thank YOU" to all those that serve.

    Refuge Recovery is a practice, a process, a set of tools, a treatment, and a path to healing addiction and the suffering caused by addiction. The main inspiration and guiding philosophy for the Refuge Recovery program are the teachings of Siddhartha (Sid) Gautama, a man who lived in India twenty-five hundred years ago. Sid was a radical psychologist and a spiritual revolutionary. Through his own efforts and practices he came to understand why human beings experience and cause so much suffering. He referred to the root cause of suffering as “uncontrollable thirst or repetitive craving.” This “thirst” tends to arise…

    Colleen Cassidy teaches an open class to people interested in watercolor painting. She had her own art school in Sarasota for the past 25 years and is a graduate of Ringling School of Art.
    Price is $30 per class. Tuesday and Thursday  9:00am - 4:00pm. Rooms A & B at Unity of Sarasota.
